BASKET BAWL North West, 9, seemingly has a meltdown as Kim Kardashian restrains her daughter at basketball game in wild new pH๏τos
NORTH West has been spotted seemingly screaming and crying while leaving her basketball game with her mom Kim Kardashian on Saturday.
Kim, 42, struggled to control her daughter’s low moment and put her hand in front of the youngster’s face back in their car. In the pH๏τos obtained by The U.S. Sun, North, nine, seemed to lose her cool after the big game.
She exited the Thousand Oaks, California arena with the Skims mogul not trying to hide her emotions while donning a jersey and water bottle.
As they walked out holding hands, North grew upset over something and the Kardashians star did little to control it.
Kim looked like she was paying her eldest daughter’s downswing no mind as they both walked to their car. There, North continued to look distraught, and Kim’s response was to put up her hand over her daughter’s mouth and face.
In addition to North, Kim is a mom to son Saint, seven, daughter Chicago, five, and Psalm, three, with her ex-husband Kanye West.
Just hours before North was spotted looking emotional, her dad was also at the game, albeit briefly. Kanye, 45, meanwhile, was spotted outside of the arena with a near-bald head and lengthy beard.
He seemed to be doing his best to avoid running into his ex-wife Kim as he did not stay for long. Kanye looked towards the distance as he layered up in a muted outfit for the brief appearance and seemed like he’s seen better days.
Kim stayed the entire time and looked stunning according to fans in a white tank top and baggy blue and red track pants. Kim accessorized with a fluffy black bag, shades, sliders, and chic jewelry – a necklace that read “Kim” – as she walked in.

Kim was also pH๏τographed enjoying the game while sitting alone in the stands. Kim seemed at peace as she watched the scrimmage without any company.
One fan wrote as the pH๏τos of Kim’s look circulated: “I like this outfit. She’s giving soccer mom in a good way.” Another commented: “She actually looks her age here. Nice to see.”
A third contributed: “You can tell these are unedited candid paparazzi pH๏τos but she doesn’t look bad here.” Kim filed for divorce from the entertainer in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.
Their divorce was finalized in November 2022, just weeks before Kanye secretly wed his new wife, Bianca Censori, 28.
KIM-PLETELY OBLIVIOUS?
That said, Kim is regularly slammed by fans for how she portrays her parenting at public outings and on social media. Last Sunday, the reality star posted snaps of the nine-year-old wearing a Dolce & Gabbana diamond choker and T-shirt on Instagram.
The preteen looked serious as she ate nachos and drank a red drink at a restaurant. One of North’s eagle-eyed fans noticed that her chin looked distorted and uneven in the first pH๏τo.
They speculated that Kim had edited North’s face shape, calling it out on Reddit. One shared a close-up of North’s jawline and wrote: “The pH๏τoshop of her chin.”
Another commented: “That is sooo sad I really hope it’s just some weird glitch or something.”
Yet another user posted on an Instagram fan account: “I feel genuinely distraught thinking about these kids’ self-esteem when they’re older.”
Last month, Kim was blasted by critics for putting a makeup filter over a clip of her and North hugging and kissing.
The preteen appeared to have huge fake lashes thanks to the editing on the clip – some claimed the filter could be “damaging” to North’s “self-esteem” given her impressionable age.
Kim is also slammed for taking North to more public events than she sometimes seems up for.
Over the summer while in Paris, poor North held up a sign seemingly aimed at pH๏τographers while at a fashion show with her mom that read: “STOP.”
