TAYLOR Swift posed for a cosy snap with new lover Matty Healy’s mum Denise Welch MONTHS ago.

As The Sun exclusively revealed that megastar Taylor is dating The 1975 frontman, fans may remember the pH๏τo of the Bad Blood singer and the Loose Women star that sent the internet into a frenzy.

Back on January 12, Denise dutifully supported her son as she enjoyed a celeb-filled night out at his band’s sold out gig at London’s O2 Arena.

The group welcomed a special guest on stage at their gig, in the form of Taylor, and the former Waterloo Road actress couldn’t help but get in on the action as she cosied up to the worldwide superstar backstage.

Taking to social media, Denise posted a sweet snap of the herself with the 11-time Grammy award winning sensation.

Fans went wild, commenting: “Icons with icons

So iconic.” added another.

“Denise gets it.” a third chipped in.

It comes as Taylor and Matty are ready to go public with their romance in Nashville, Tennessee, where the US singer performs this weekend.

Last month, it was revealed US singer-songwriter Taylor, 33, had split from actor Joe Alwyn, 32, after six years.

A source close to Taylor said: “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.

“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.

“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.

“But as two international megastars, they understand the pressures of one another’s jobs better than anyone, and are incredibly supportive of their respective careers.

“They are both mᴀssively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away.

“Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy. She’s told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour.”

Eagle-eyed fans have already been speculating the US singer — whose famous British exes include Joe, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston — is seeing Matty.

Just as Taylor famously leaves “Easter eggs” — secret clues to her fans — in her content, so Matty, too, appears to have hinted at their blossoming relationship.

In January — before they got together — Taylor made a surprise appearance on stage at London’s O2 on the first night of The 1975’s sell-out At Their Very Best tour.

She performed two tracks, The City and Anti-Hero, during which Matty referred to her as “the Queen”.

Details of her split from her rumoured fiancé Joe were then conveniently leaked on April 8 — Matty’s 34th birthday — which fans believed was Taylor’s “gift” to her new boyfriend.

Last month the Sex singer appeared to reference Taylor’s own hugely successful tour, Eras, when discussing his decision to quit all social media.

Matty, whose dad is Benidorm actor Tim Healy, 71, explained:

Everything happens in eras.

“The 1975 is a very eras band. The era of me being a f***ing a**hole is coming to an end.”
