KARDASHIAN critics have accused Kim of faking it in her latest social media post.
Kim, 42, took to Instagram on Friday and shared two pH๏τos and a video of herself in bed. The first picture was a close-up of the Kardashians star sleeping with her face resting on her hand.
In the second sH๏τ, the mother of four napped in her large bed with her long dark ponytail strategically placed on her white pillow and a full face of makeup.
The video clip was filmed by Kim’s British hairdresser Chris Appleton as he woke the Skims founder up at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Kim captioned the post: “Guys, I’m really tired,” but some people accused of her “fake sleeping.” “Nobody sleeps like that Kim. Why you perking up the lips and a whole face of makeup?” one person commented.
Another person questioned: “But sleeping with makeup on??” and a third said: “Well! You go to bed in full make up????” “It’s the perfectly positioned ponytail for me, sis,” someone else mocked.
“You are such an actress,” another person accused, while a different Instagram user wrote: “Sleeping with makeup on is wild.” The two images were also shared on Poosh’s Instagram, which is the lifestyle brand owned by Kim’s older sister Kourtney Kardashian.
The post was captioned: “If your current bedtime routine looks like a lot of FYP scrolling, this is for you. We’re sharing the top 5 ways to hack your nighttime habits for better sleep at the link in our bio.”
The sarcastic comments continued as one person said: “lol, new hack, sleeping with makeup.” Another person mocked: “so natural…” while another said: “Who the hell sleeps looking like that.”
“WoW. she sleeps in a full face of makeup?” someone else asked, while a different user advised: “Sleeping in make up is very bad for your skin Kim.” The sleeping pics come after it was reported last year that Kim’s family was concerned for her because she was “barely sleeping.”
At the time, mom-of-four Kim was juggling a lot and was in the midst of her divorce from Kanye West. An insider told the Sun: “Kim looks amazing, always, but she’s good at keeping how stressed she is hidden.
“She’s the skinniest she’s ever been and barely sleeping. Her family know that a lot of this is her rebounding from a very controlling marriage, and her determination to show Kanye how much better she is doing without him.
“But whereas before she was incredibly healthy and well-rested, now she’s constantly jetlagged and she’s finding it hard to fit workouts in. I think Kim’s really struggling but won’t admit it.
“She’s juggling being a hands-on mum, her studies, the high-pressure filming schedule and is always on edge that Kanye will go on another rant. She is having a great time with Pete but the travel is taking it’s toll and she’s barely sleeping. Everyone is worried she’s burnt-out,” the source added.
No doubt, fans are going to get a glimpse of that time in Kim’s life in the upcoming third season of the Hulu series The Kardashians. When a trailer was released for the new series back in March, viewers were shocked to see Kim breaking down in one dramatic scene.
During the trailer, the Skims founder burst into tears as she bowed her head in shame. Kim, 42, covered her face with both hands, attempting to hide her tears.
“You think I need your permission!” the reality star yelled in the preview. And in another teaser trailer released in April, fans got some more context to the scene as Kim fell into her sister Khloe’s arms and cried: “I’m not OK!”
The reality star went through a whirlwind of emotions as she added: “I’m having such a hard day today!”
Apparently, Kim had just been told the heartbreaking news that her divorce from her ex-husband Kanye, 45, had become final.
