“I think ideally in the next couple of years we would try,” the model said at the time. “But there’s a reason they call it try, right? You don’t know how long that process is ever going to take.”
Hailey certainly spoke positively about having kids in the future with her husband, but she was not quite yet ready to embark on that next chapter in life.
“Definitely no kids this year; that would be a little bit hectic, I think.” “I’m still super young,” she admitted, but she certainly wants to be a mother somewhere down the line.

Hailey and Justin Bieber have been very vocal about wanting to have children together. Though the women are typically the ones asked about babies, Justin himself has talked about having kids with his wife.
Just captioned an Instagram post celebrating Hailey’s birthday in 2019 “Next season BABIES!” In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in late 2020, Justin spoke about why they had not had any children yet.
“It’s her body and whatever she wants to do,” he told DeGeneres after being questioned about babies. “I’m going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe.”
The celebrity couple are certainly asked about having children all the time. Hailey has even had to clarify that they have not secretly had any children, specifically during the global pandemic. She is also constantly having to shut down pregnancy rumors online.

“I want kids so bad, but I get scared,” the model and businesswoman admitted to the newspaper. “It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”

Though the online debate and feud between Hailey and Selena has died down, Hailey has admitted that 2023 has been a very hard year for her. The idea of bringing children into the mix is very daunting, so Justin and her may be holding off on having kids until she feels more comfortable.
