Kanye West Mourns the Loss of His “Queen” Kim Kardashian

On Sunday, the rapper posted a string of Instagram Stories expressing his condolences to the UK over the recent death of Queen Elizabeth. At one point, he shared a screensH๏τ of white text on a black background, writing in all caps, “London I know how you feel, I lost my queen too.”

West is presumably referring to his ex-wife who he has said repeatedly that he would like to win back since their split early last year.

They have since been declared legally single with both going on to date other people. Earlier that week, the Yeezy designer also shared another pH๏τo of Kim wearing a silver bustier top and matching wide-leg trousers.

West also spoke about his relationship with the reality star during an interview with Good Morning America that aired last week, explaining that he never meant to stress her out with his constant barrage of social media posts, noting that they’re both just trying to create the best possible environment for their kids.

I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind, and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day.” But he also noted that he feels it’s his responsibility “as a dad and as a Christian” to speak out about what he sees as right and wrong for his children.

“I have a right to have a voice on what my kids are wearing, what they’re watching, what they’re eating,” he said. “I have a platform where I get to say what so many dads can’t say out loud.”
