The hoops don’t lie! Shakira shows off her post-baby body in pink T-shirt and shorts during a playful game of basketball

Shakira has been playing basketball for years now and it shows.

The Sєxy Colombian skipped the gym in favour of some jump sH๏τs on the basketball court in Barcelona, Spain with a female pal on Thursday.

Shakira took to the court like it was a stage, alternately shaking those hips and running lightly on her feet while bouncing the ball from one end to the other.

The 36-year-old singer proved she was a star in this realm too when she jumped high into the air and tossed the ball effortlessly through the hoop.

Nice sH๏τ aside, Shakira managed to look Sєxy while showing off her slimmed down post-pregnancy figure in dark athletic shorts and a clingy pink T-shirt.

She wore heavy-duty trainers to protect her feet as she practiced her footwork and had her wavy blonde hair in a twist, which started coming apart from all the physical exertion.

The heart was pumping and so were her legs, and Shakira’s happiness was complete.

Her make-up free complexion shone with perspiration as she continued her courtside workout with her female friend.

Shakira gave birth to her son Milan in January and shedding the excess weight has been a tough uphill battle.

Trying to rid her body of those post-pregnancy pounds ‘is the only thing that’s been stressful,’ Shakira admitted in April during a NBC/Universal press day for The Voice.

‘I knew I had to come back here to do The Voice two months after I had delivered a baby.

‘I didn’t have my four months of maternity like every woman on earth has. I’m not trying to complain, but it’s been a process full of challenges.’

having Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique for a partner doesn’t hurt either.

Shakira met Gerard in 2010 when he appeared in her music video for her song Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), and the following year on March 29 she officially confirmed their relationship via Twitter and Facebook.

The couple have a home in Barcelona, where Gerard plays as a centre back, and Los Angeles for her work in the music industry.

Shakira, meanwhile, has been working on her next studio album.
