Shakira dazzles in lace and leather for children’s charity launch in Barcelona… after winning an award for her ongoing philanthropic efforts

She recently won an award for her outstanding contribution to charity, despite having made her fame as a singer.

And Shakira showed no signs of stopping on Tuesday, as she helped to launch the Barranquilla School Project in Barcelona, Spain.

The Colombian beauty,  looked both Sєxy and sophisticated in leather trousers and a lace blazer as she arrived at Camp Nou to support the charity – which aims to create sport programs for under-privileged children.

The mother-of-two looked effortlessly stunning as she arrived at FC Barcelona’s home stadium in a stylish all-black ensemble

She showed off her enviably slender figure in a pair of leather trousers, which clung to her svelte legs all the way down to her grungy studded ankle boots.

Making the look more elegant and feminine up top, she then paired the strides with a delicate lace top and blazer combo – which cut into a semi-sheer neckline and matching sleeves.

Sweeping her blonde locks off her face into a loose ponytail, the pop star displayed her clear and glowing complexion as she beamed with pride at the charitable event.

FC Barcelona alongside La Caixa bank are set to donate €1.2 million to the cause, which aims to make more sports programs available for children living in conflict.

While she made her fame as a singer, Shakira is now best known for her contributions to charity in her home country of Colombia.

Back in January, philanthropic efforts even won her the Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Switzerland.

Beaming as she accepted the award, Shakira – who is also also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambᴀssador devoted to early childhood development, said: ‘Today’s babies will drive tomorrow’s business.

‘Their capacity to contribute will shape tomorrow’s societies, will solve tomorrow’s problems.

‘In this room there are some of the most powerful people in the world, and definitely I’m convinced you know what it means to be ahead of the curve.

‘We need to apply the brains and strategies of business and the ᴀssets and human resources and talents of your companies to do social good and to solve social problems.’

The duo met on set of her Waka Waka video and are parents to adorable little boys Milan, three, and Sasha, one.
