Kendall Jenner, who can’t cut a cucumber, says she often cooks for friends

Kendall Jenner, whose cucumber-cutting skills are admittedly “tragic,” says she cooks for her friends regularly.

The reality star-turned-supermodel made the bizarre claim in Wednesday’s cover story for WSJ. Magazine’s Summer Digital issue, explaining that one of her favorite dishes to make is a rice pilaf with herbed chicken and vegetables.

It’s apparently among her rotation of trusty recipes belonging to her parents, Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner.

Kendall’s initial take on the time Hulu cameras captured her attempting to slice a cucumber “like a lanky alien” (WSJ.’s description, not ours) in a Season 2 episode of “The Kardashians” seems to have

Let me just say I successfully cut ‘the cucumber,’” she confidently told the publication. “So if anyone says I cannot cut cucumber, I physically cut the cucumber, and I did it tastefully. I didn’t hurt anybody. So I can cut cucumbers.”

Perhaps she has since learned a better technique than the one that made her go viral in May 2022.

At the time, Kendall, 26, was in the kitchen with Kris, fixing to have a snack.

After refusing her momager’s offer to let their private chef make her something to eat, Kendall began “chopping some cucumber” — a task she deemed “pretty easy.”

Supportive Kris let out a “you go, girl” before urging her daughter to “be careful” because she had recently “nicked” herself doing the same thing.

“I know. I’m kinda scared,” Kendall admitted, holding both the fruit and a knife as awkwardly as possible.

“Don’t cucumbers have seeds?” she asked aloud. “Oh, yeah.”

Looking up and directly into the camera, she added, “I’m definitely not a good cutter, so don’t zoom in on me. I’m not professional whatsoever.”

By this point, Kris, 67, decided to try to find a solution to the hopeless situation unraveling before her very eyes, calling out, “Hey, Chef, do you wanna cut this up for her?”
