Panelist claims Shakira is starting to ‘look a little bit ridiculous’
She has been dominating the headlines for many months
The personal and professional life of Shakira has been plastered all over every major publication ever since her split from former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique and subsequent move to Miami.
The break-up seemed to breathe new life into the Colombian pop stars career as she has been releasing plenty of music that has some not-so-subtle references to Pique and their relationship
The Colombian singer has a legion of fans who follow her every move and everything she does, but there are also detractors.
That includes one of the panelists on ‘El programa de Ana Rosa’, who has thrown some shade at the artist.
Is Shakira making a fool of herself?
During the programme, the host made the following statement follower her latest song release.
“After everything we’ve said about this break-up, we’ll be looking for elements of her songs that have to do with autobiography for another 100 years,” was the comment.
But, it was Alessandro Lequio who thought it was indeed a song about heartbreak.
“What I see is a neglected woman begging for a little bit of love”, he stated.
“I agree with you, heartbreak is behind the best songs and the best plays.
“But a real professional doesn’t have to experience things and then tell the story. A real professional uses imagination.
“The subject is already a bit exhausting. She has begun to look a little ridiculous.”
