They graced the white carpet in an array of glamorous gowns for the biggest night in fashion.

And after the months of planning their outfits for Monday’s Met Gala, it was time for another quick change, as the crème de la crème of the fashion world descended in their glory on the afterparties, which were held at New York’s 1OAK nightclub, The Standard Hotel and The Boom Boom Room.

After adhering to the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons theme, Bella Hadid, 20, let loose and slipped into a sheer Alexander Wang slip dress that flaunted her phenomenal figure, whilst Kendall Jenner, 21, let her legs steal the show in a tiny Danielle Guizio miniskirt while they were joined by Rita Ora, Katy Perry and Hailey Baldwin.

Protecting her modesty with just black body tape on her nipples and a skimpy pair of briefs, the supermodel wasn’t afraid to bare all as she disembarked the coach heading to the nightclub while sporting the mini designed by Wang – who also designed her jumpsuit earlier in the night.

Adorned with gems and intricate detailing, the slip sheathed her sensational physique whilst leaving little to the imagination, proving her sheer confidence in her simply sensational physique

Grazing her thighs, the perilously short hemline offered a look at her tanned and toned pins, which were elongated further by a pair of barely-there studded sole heels.

With such a dramatic ensemble, Bella proved she is all about balance as she kept her make-up and hair style minimal – meaning the eye was immediately pulled to her incredible ᴀssets on display.

Earlier in the evening, Bella donned her backless Alexander Wang jumpsuit that also ensured her hourglᴀss curves would steal the show. The low neckline was scooped and featured lace detailing as it followed around the slightly off-the-shoulder design and down her back, resting just above her peachy derriere.

While many of her colleagues and fellow attendees opted for frothy ballgowns, Bella made it very clear she was far more confident in a show-stopping and wildly unique look as she preened and posed.

Bella likely had in her mind that her former boyfriend of two years The Weeknd would be attending the Met Gala with his new squeeze Selena Gomez. And no doubt she was determined to put on a spectacular show reminding the recording artist of exactly what he is missing.

Luckily, Bella had the support of her family at the Met Gala as sister Gigi, also a model, mother Yolanda and brother Anwar were on the exclusive guest list too.

Her best friend Kendall Jenner was also at her side, and for the afterparty, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star donned a sheer gold hoodie over a tiny lurex bralet – opting for an extremely different look to her red carpet ensemble – a barely-there design by lingerie giant La Perla Couture.

Letting her enviably long legs steal the show, she teamed the garment with a thigh-skimming black mini skirt that she teamed with towering heels. Adding to the glamour, the star donned a pair of chunky gold hooped earrings and a myriad of bracelets as she prepared to party the night away.

While it was her style that was catching eyes, it was also Kendall’s date, as she appeared to confirm her widely-discussed romance with A$AP Rocky as she arrived hand in hand with the rapper at the event.

Proving themselves to be quite the style couple, the rapper was also clad in designer garb as he sported a Carhartt vest, Gucci pants and Nike sneakers having rocked a considerably smarter red carpet look.

Elsewhere, Hailey Baldwin’s millennial charm did not prevent her from borrowing from decades gone as she rocked an Eighties-inspired mini. While the 20-year-old could have pulled off the vintage look, her sartorial prowess was somewhat diminished as she flashed her nipple pasties from beneath the perilously plunging neckline while heading into the bash.

Hailey started the night on the red carpet in an ethereal ensemble, which added a dream-like touch to the iconic annual event. It seems the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin was keen to Sєx things up later in the evening as she slipped into the sultry mini dress with extreme elements borrowed from the garish style of the decade.

The black mini dress was barely-there in material while the neckline boasted a pink metallic detail which fell off her shoulder while boosting her cleavage.

While she appeared to go braless, it was in fact the dress which acted to cup her ᴀssets although the structured top failed her somewhat as she spilled out of the slinky tube dress – in a shock wardrobe malfunction.

Already putting on an eye-popping display, Hailey stunned further when her ɴuᴅᴇ nipple pastie became visible from beneath the gaping neckline.

Keeping her look totally themed, she styled her hair into a voluminous Eighties style crop while her dripping jewels acted to give the glamorous feel of a prom queen in the era of heavy hairspray and bright neons

Katy Perry meanwhile had come under fire for wearing a dress to the Met Gala designed by John Galliano who once said he ‘loved Hitler’ during an anti-Semitic rant. She brushed the controversy aside as she headed to the Boom Boom room afterparty.

After swamping her lithe frame on the red carpet, the 32-year-old singer opted for a drastic change to her look, as she later slipped into an Ulyana Sergeenko Couture sequined cape and body with lurex stockings from the Fall 2016 collection.

The sequinned garment highlighted her hourglᴀss curves and left little to the imagination, whilst a thick pink belt further accentuated her tiny waist. Donning glitter stockings as well as fishnet tights, the songstress added some height to her modelesque frame with a pair of ɴuᴅᴇ lace-up heels.

The most striking element of her ensemble, however, was a sequinned pink cape that she wore with the hood up, concealing her freshly-cut blonde locks.

Rihanna continued her roll of out-there ensembles as she arrived at the Met Gala after-party on Monday in a nightwear-inspired getup, as she looked nothing short of sensational as she wore just a bed shirt with a duo of belts having transformed from her outrageous floral gown, which ground the red carpet to a halt hours before.

Hitting the red carpet, she rocked a gown from the Comme Des Garcons 2016 Fall ready-to-wear collection that resembled flowers blooming all over her body – with the label being the theme of this year’s show.

Later on however she changed into a wholly different yet equally crazy look by slipping into a slinky white bed shirt which she cinched in at her tiny waist with the addition of two bold green belts.  The green accessories coordinated with her backless, boudoir-inspired mules complete with a teal length of marabou fluff as a trim.

Naturally clad in mᴀsses of designer labels, the stunning star sported $1,380 crystal-trimmed, oversized Gucci shades, $750 feather satin Prada mules, and $9,500 Jill Heller ruby earrings.

Sheer ensembles seemed to be the unofficial theme of the evening, with Behati Prinsloo donning a tiny lace dress with mesh panels that offered a glimpse of her sensational figure.

Going against convention, the Victoria’s Secret model – who is married to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine – shunned heels in favour of chunky black boots that put a grunge spin on her outfit.

No doubt feeling good that she’d be able to dance the night away without pain, Behati flashed a smile as she stepped off the bus.
