Taylor Swift fans go WILD as she kicks off the LA leg of her Eras Tour with TWO surprise tracks in front of a star-studded crowd: ‘Can you see me crying?’

Taylor Swift kicked off the much-anticipated Los Angeles leg of her Eras Tour in front of a star-studded crowd at the SoFi Stadium on Thursday night.

The hitmaker, 33, has delighted thousands of fans across the US since kicking off her tour in March, and is set to wrap up her first Stateside leg with six nights in Hollywood.

It was no surprise that the 70,000 fans in attendance weren’t disappointed by Taylor’s stellar show, with many speculating the concert was being filmed for an upcoming documentary after cameras were spotted recording the show.

While many were quick to document her performances on Twitter, others struggled to hide their excitement as Taylor revealed the two surprise tracks on the evening’s setlist – I Can See You and Maroon.

Taylor has packed her Eras shows with an eye-popping 45 tracks, as well as a selection of surprise songs, with fans eagerly waiting to see which tracks would make an unlikely appearance each night.

I Can See You featured on Taylor’s 2010 album Speak Now, as well as the new version she released last month, while Maroon appears on her most recent album Midnights.

Upon learning that these would be the two songs to appear in Taylor’s first LA show, fans were swept into a frenzy.

One tweeted: ‘Goodnight to fellow delusional Taylor Swift fans,’ while another gushed that she was ‘not okay.’

Another gushed: ‘I can see me crying in my room watching this,’ while one also shared: ‘I’m so sick. This is my song… they won.’

Later in the show, as Taylor announced that Maroon was the next surprise track, Swifties could hide their delight.

One posted: ‘You’re telling me Taylor played Maroon on piano on 8/3 in the rwylm fic and then she did that irl tonight.’

Another admitted they were ‘trembling’ while watching the performance, while one wrote: ‘And I can see me crying.’

Before taking the stage, fans were treated to opening act performances from Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim of the band Haim and singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.

A slew of celebrities turned out for the big show, including actress Sofia Carson and Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline.

Actress Brie Larson and model Karlie Kloss were also among those who headed to the show, with the Captain Marvel star showing off her best dance moves in a pal’s video on Instagram Stories.

It’s been rumored that Swift’s LA shows are being filmed for a possible Eras Tour as some fans have spotted a professional film crew at the venue.

According to TMZ, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have extensive security measures in place to help them deal with the mᴀssive crowds for all six concerts.

The precautions rival those that were put in place ahead of last year’s Super Bowl LVI at the venue, which seats 70,240 guests.

A statement from the LAPD issued Tuesday read that ‘the Department is providing a similar level of visibility as the 2022 Superbowl in order to ensure the safety of the public throughout the Metro System.’

According to the LA Times, Swift’s concerts are predicted to bring ‘$150 million in spending to the area’ as an estimated half a million people are expected to attend.

Swift first appeared in a dazzling rhinestone bodysuit with matching Christian Louboutin boots with the luxury brand’s famous red bottom.

Swift kicked off her stadium tour’s North American leg in Glendale, Arizona in March and it was supposed to wrap up in LA on August 9.

But on Thursday, the Anti-Hero hitmaker added 15 more dates for that will see her return to Indiana, Florida, Louisiana and Ontario, Canada.

‘Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,’ Swift wrote on Twitter. ‘Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!’
