Britney Spears gets new puppy after settling dog custody with ex Sam Asghari

Britney Spears has a new loyal companion.

The “Toxic” singer revealed she recently got a new puppy just one day after she and estranged husband Sam Asghari reached a custody agreement over their other dogs.

“Introducing Snow … the new edition to the family … it’s her world and we just live in it       !!!” she captioned a video posted to Instagram Wednesday.

In the clip, the fluffy white pup can be seen running around Spears’ legs before the pop star picked her up. “Let me show them how tiny you are,” the songstress, 41, can be heard saying, adding, “Say ‘hi’ Snow!”

Snow then roamed on top of Spears’ bedding as the “Gimme More” singer sat with her legs crossed. Instead of a typical dog toy, the pup — which appears to be a Maltese — played with a blue pacifier.

While it’s unclear exactly when the Grammy winner welcomed Snow, she and Asghari — who filed for divorce last week after one year of marriage — agreed to split up their five dogs on Tuesday.

The former personal trainer, 29, got custody of the couple’s Doberman, Porsha, who he bought as protection for his soon-to-be ex-wife in October 2021, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Spears will get full custody of the other four dogs: an Australian Shepherd named Sawyer, a Yorkie named Hannah and two other smaller dogs. (It’s unclear whether that included Snow.)

The outlet reports that both Spears and Asghari were “happy” with the agreement — despite the singer allegedly refusing to give up custody of her dogs beforehand.

Last week, a source told the Daily Mail that “the most difficult part of dividing [their] ᴀssets” came down to their fur babies.

“Sam gave Porsha to Britney as a present and she was the one who wanted to adopt Sawyer when they were in Maui,” the insider said of the pair’s decision to split up their dogs.

In fact, Asghari was pH๏τographed for the first time since filing for divorce while walking Porsha on Monday.

The Iranian-born actor showed off his muscles in a black tank top and brown sweatpants yet he was noticeably without his wedding ring.

Asghari apparently ditched the platinum band weeks ago, as he was also seen without the symbolic ring in July before their breakup became public.

Meanwhile, Spears has reportedly returned the engagement ring Asghari gave her when he proposed in 2021.

“Sam can have that ring,” the same insider told the Daily Mail last week. “It was free from the jeweler and she doesn’t want it anymore. She has enough diamonds.”
