Madonna, 65, looks healthy and fit while riding a bike in NYC… two months after she was hospitalized for ‘serious bacterial infection’ that landed her in the ICU

Madonna looked happy and healthy as she was spotted biking around New York City with a personal trainer on Wednesday.

As she continues to recover from a serious bacterial infection, which forced her to spend several days in the ICU, the 65-year-old Queen of Pop worked up a sweat on a blue bicycle while rocking her own merchandise.

As she pedaled down the sidewalk, alongside a few pals, the Material Girl hitmaker appeared thrilled as she resumed her active lifestyle.

For her workout, the seven-time Grammy winner wore a black baseball cap, a Nike long sleeve, sunglᴀsses and a pair of figure-hugging leggings.

She wore minimal makeup and styled her golden blonde tresses in two braids. Madonna’s latest sighting comes just two months after she made it through her intense health scare.

According to Page Six, the artist was rushed to a hospital after being found unconscious in New York this past June. It was also reported that the hitmaker was intubated for at least one night during her process of recovery.

Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, later revealed that the songwriter had been diagnosed with a ‘serious bacterial infection,’ which landed her in the ICU.

He added that the performer was expected to make a ‘full recovery’ in due time. The hitmaker was ultimately forced to push back the North American dates for her upcoming Celebration Tour.

Madonna is mother to six children: Lourdes, 26; Rocco, 22; David, 17; Mercy, 17; and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere. Lourdes was by her side throughout her hospitalization, The New York Post reported.

Grateful: In June, the musical icon broke her silence on her health battle on a social media, with a statement, which read: ‘Thank you for your positive energy. Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love’

She posts frequent tributes to her 92-year-old father, Silvio Ciccone, and is close to several of her siblings.

Anthony died in February from throat cancer and respiratory failure, aged 66. The Ciccone siblings all keep a low profile, leaving the limelight to their megastar relation.

At the time, an insider told DailyMail.com that her sudden hospitalization united them. ‘All of Madonna’s family members have come together over this,’ the relative said.

And, it served as a reminder to the singer that she needed to take care of herself.  ‘This really woke her the f*** up. ‘She has not been living as healthy a life as she should be for her age, and she has been wearing herself thin over the past couple of months.

‘She thinks that she is still young when, in fact, she is not. She also believes that she is invincible.’

Sources close to the singer said she has been working around the clock to ensure that her tour is perfect, with one revealing that she has been rehearsing six days a week.

Another told DailyMail.com in April that she was ‘driving everyone up the wall with her perfectionism.’ The source also said that Madonna was ‘in incredible shape.’

‘I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings,’ she told her followers. ‘My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour’
