RIHANNA and ASAP Rocky have revealed the unique name of their second child a month after his birth.
The couple quietly welcomed their baby boy in Los Angeles on August 1. Rihanna, 35, and her rapper boyfriend named their son Riot Rose Mayers, according to a birth certificate obtained by The Blast on Thursday.
He appears to be following in the footsteps of his older brother, whose equally uncommon name also starts with “R.”
Weeks after their first son’s birth, the Diamonds singer and ASAP Rocky revealed that they named their son RZA Athelston Mayers – an homage to the Wu-Tang rapper RZA.
Rihanna and the New York rapper have not revealed the inspiration behind their son’s name, however ASAP did release a song called Riot earlier this year.
According to the baby’s birth certificate, he was born at 7.41am on August 1. Rihanna reportedly gave birth at Cedar Sinai Hospital.

Rumors have been swirling about Rihanna giving birth for weeks. On August 21, sources incorrectly told TMZ that the Fenty Beauty founder gave birth on August 3.
The same insider told the outlet that the child’s name “starts with the letter R.” No further details were available at the time.
Fans had been buzzing about Rihanna giving birth, taking note of several telling signs on social media. Her supporters pointed out that she had been relatively inactive on social media, sharing only old pH๏τos.
ASAP Rocky went similarly quiet on platforms like Instagram.
BABY RZA
Rihanna welcomed her first child – a son named RZA – on May 13, 2022. Months earlier, in January, she announced her pregnancy when she and ASAP Rocky were pH๏τographed out together in New York City.
The Grammy-winning musician flaunted her bare belly as she strolled through the Big Apple. Of her first pregnancy, the musician told Vogue: “I wouldn’t say [we were] planning [to start a family] but certainly not planning against it.
“I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that type of s**t. We just had fun and then it was just there on the test.” She announced her second pregnancy at the Super Bowl in February.
The star was selected to perform during the halftime show, sporting a baby bump as she danced and sang.
