‘Fun and friendly’ Kendall Jenner ‘makes drinks behind the bar and takes sH๏τs with pals’ at party in Miami for her tequila brand 818

Kendall Jenner was having a blast promoting her tequila brand 818 in Miami on Sunday evening.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wore a skintight ruby red and army green dress as she became the hostess with the mostest at the splashy event.

‘Kendall was having so much fun at the party and really got into it,’ a source told DailyMail.com. ‘She got behind the bar and made drinks for people, she seemed to know what she was doing, and they were really good, I was impressed. She was in the best mood.’

Jenner – whose basketball star beau Devin Booker was not seen at the event – also said bottoms up more than once.

‘She went from table to table taking sH๏τs with fans and friends,’ said the source.

‘Kendall was incredibly friendly, not at all like her public persona while is more standoffish. She was gregarious and playful and made everyone feel great.

‘She took a few sH๏τs here and there but not too many. It was all in good fun and she was a blast. Everyone thinks Khloe [Kardashian] is the really outgoing one, but Kendall seems to be the really festive one these days.’

Jenner looked slim in her skintight dress that had a red print over an army green background. The dress had long sleeves and came to the calf. The Vogue model stepped out in clear high heels to add to her nearly 6ft frame.

And the sister of Kylie Jenner wore her brunette hair down and straight as she added plum toned makeup.

The event – called A Night with 818 Tequila – took place at the SAAM Lounge at SLS Brickell in Miami. SAAM Lounge at SLS Brickell features a 2,800 square foot indoor/outdoor space with private nooks of couches and balcony terrace with a fireplace.

The event was a part of Miami Art Week.

The food included Smoked Golden Beet Tartar and Spicy Tuna & Rice Cracker Sandwich.

And there was music provided by DJ Cardi.

Founded by Kendall, 818 Tequila is an award-winning, hand-crafted tequila brand ‘committed to uplifting the women and men who make it,’ according to a press release.

‘Produced using traditional methods in Jalisco, Mexico at a family-owned-and-operated distillery, the brand has won 16 blind tasting awards across six major industry compeтιтions,’ it was added.

Sustainably produced from one hundred percent Weber Blue agaves, 818 Tequila features three variations: Blanco, Reposado and Añejo.

Last week 818 Tequila dropped a limited edition merchandise collection to help support ‘sustainability efforts’ and ‘rural Mexican communities’ where her tequila is made.

‘Instead of a traditional merch drop, 818 Tequila is continuing their mission of giving back to the planet,’ a rep for the brand told Daily Mail.

Purchases of the merch are supposed to ‘support 818 Tequila’s sustainability efforts and ongoing partnership with S.A.C.R.E.D., a US-based nonprofit that supports rural Mexican communities where heirloom agave spirits are made.’

The limited-edition collection includes 818 Tequila t-shirts, hats and socks along with seasonal items including a puffy jacket, beanie, crewneck sweatshirt and sweatpants.

The 25-year-old model has previously faced backlash amid claims of cultural appropriation.

She disputed the narrative on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she stated that she was actually giving back to the people in the area where 818 is made.

‘At our distillery, which I was just at the other day, we found a way to take the agave waste, the agave fibres and the water waste, and build this sustainable brick that we are actually donating back to the community of Jalisco,’ the Vogue model shared.

And the daughter of Kris Jenner added: ‘Along with saving the planet it’s important for us to be friendly to the community as well. We’re donating them and building homes for people that need homes.’

Kendall also faced other negative claims regarding her brand. In May Nick Matzorkis, the CEO of Tequila 512, pointed out the striking resemblance Jenner’s tequila had to his own.
