Kendall and Kylie on Their New Swim Capsule and Borrowing Bathing Suits From Kris

For Kendall Jenner, taking a good swimsuit selfie is simple. “Knowing your body and your angles,” the model says. Kylie Jenner agrees: “Angles are everything.” That, of course, and a great swimsuit to show off. There are plenty of French cuts and balconette tops to choose from in their 23-piece swim capsule, which launches exclusively on Revolve.com today—just in time for peak beach season. To go with them, the sisters offered a few of their best poolside style tips to try out this summer.

The Jenners prefer a high-waist, hip bone–grazing cut. “We were inspired by old school ’80s bathing suits like my mom used to wear,” Kylie says. “My mom has the most amazing ’70s and ’80s swim collection. I’ve worn some lately, so we were really inspired by that Sєxy sport vibe.” Indeed, the throwback cut has resurfaced both in their line and across Instagram, where the look is trending. “We are loving everything high-cut because it looks amazing on all body types,” Kendall says.

The pair firmly believes the mark of a great suit comes down to its versatility; even better if it references lingerie, like the flirty bra tops in their capsule. “I’m definitely a fan of the ‘swimtimates’ trend!” Kendall says, of taking swimwear and lingerie to the street. “I love layering lingerie and swim into my everyday looks, especially during the summertime.” Kylie is also on board. “I think swimwear sometimes has a lingerie feel to it, so it only makes sense that people combine the two clothing styles together,” she says. While Kendall plans on styling her ʙικιɴι tops with overalls and sneakers for the city, Kylie suggests layering a swimsuit separate under a crop top or a tank with denim short shorts.

When it comes to the all-important question—one-piece or two—the Jenners remain divided. “At the moment, I love a Sєxy one-piece. It’s classic and chic,” Kendall says. Kylie begs to differ. “Two pieces are fun because I can mix and match the tops and the bottoms,” she says. “It depends on my mood.” Fear not: There’s plenty of time to explore both sides, before swimsuit season comes to a close.
