Halsey Reveals She’s Dating Miley Cyrus’ Ex-Boyfriend Avan Jogia With PDA-Filled Date
Five moths after breaking up with her son’s father, Halsey revealed she has a new man in her life.
Halsey wasn’t afraid to let the world know she has a new man recently, as she was spotted packing on More recently. The pair first got together in 2017 and became engaed in 2020. However, the duo seemingly broke up the following year when they unfollowed each other on socials and removed any mentions of their past romance.the PDA with actor Avan Jogia. The new couple were recently captured in a display of affection, which included an intimate kiss, during a romantic evening at the Cara Hotel in Los Angeles this past Monday.
Halsey was pictured wearing a gray sleeveless graphic tee underneath a black leather jacket and complementing dark blue jeans. For his part, Avan sported a long black leather jacket over a blue ʙuттon-down shirt, paired with jeans featuring a white splatter design.
As they navigated through a lively outdoor space with stairs, the pair were seen holding hands while strolling along the sidewalk.
This isn’t the first time Halsey and Avan have been linked together, though they haven’t seen packing on as much PDA as recently, which seems to confirm their relationship status. Prior to their recent appearance, the pair maintained a low profile regarding. While they had been spotted together on several occasions over the past few months, they had chosen not to publicly disclose their romantic involvement.
Halsey Broke Up With Her Son’s Father Months Ago
Halsey’s new romance comes only five months after Halsey broke up with Alev Aydin, whom she shares a 2-year-old son, Ender. Shortly after their break-up, Halsey filed full physical custody of their toddler as well as joint legal custody.
Halsey and Alev have declined to provide a reason to the public for their break-up, but various reports claim split was a mutual decision. “Their split was completely amicable,” a source disclosed to Hollywood Life. “And she only filed for sole custody because she’s going on tour and Ender will be with them. But they are planning to co-parent their son together.”
They continued, “It was just a formality that needed to be done, so she could take Ender with them.”
The couple were first linked in January 2021, thought they declined to confirm their relationship status until later in the month, when Halsey revealed in a surprise post that she was pregnant.
Their son was born later in the year, though Haley infamously prefers to keep her son’s face off social media, even years later. “I’m glad we got to make this album when we did because being a mother to my son makes being a musician seem pretty boring,” she said of motherhood in October 2021.
“Something really amazing happened when I did have my son, which is the absolute, glorious eradication and death of my ego. Nothing matters when I go home to him,” Halsey went on. “He thinks I’m perfect and great and everything.”
Avan is a former Nickelodeon star who gained fame on the kids’ program Victorious, alongside Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande. He’s been linked to a variety of famous women over the years, including Miley Cyrus, who he appeared to have a brief romance with in 2010.
