Kim Kardashian rocks famous vintage Chanel necklace Margot Robbie wore in Barbie while also toting a pink bag from the luxe brand.. as she’s seen on set of Usher’s Super Bowl ad tease
Kim Kardashian was seen taking a break from filming her Super Bowl LVIII announcement commercial for Usher as the headlining act during halftime.
The stunning star, 42, was wearing the famous vintage Chanel necklace – the exact one Margot Robbie wore in the 2023 movie Barbie – during her shoot on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles.
The SKIMS founder also held on to her pink quilted Chanel purse while chatting on the phone. The Chanel necklace is incredibly rare – it debuted during the Chanel 1995 spring ready to-wear collection.
The multi-colored necklace was worn by supermodel Shalom Harlow during the runway show; for the runway show, Shalom wore it with a teal crop top, skirt, chain belt and pink tote.
The piece features teardrop pearls, multi-colored stones and gold hued hardware. The stunning necklace was also featured in the global hit film Barbie – which starred Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
In the movie, Margot wore the exact necklace – with an added pink heart pendant attached to it – along with a H๏τ pink mini dress and heart shaped Chanel purse.
Kim found and purchased the rare Chanel item from the vintage show called Vintage Ecoland in Nagoya, Japan. The star enjoyed a summer vacation there in August with her eldest child North West, nine.
In addition to the necklace, Kim also purchased a pink Chanel mini vanity handbag. The billionaire showed off her lavish purchases on her Instagram stories in August, tagging the store and posing with the owner.
She had the necklace sitting on her handbag in the snap as she gave a kiss to the camera. Kim captioned it: ‘OMG best shopping ever in Japan!! I’m in my barbie bag at @vintage_ecoland.’
Kim showcased her tiny midsection in a skintight white crop top, adding high-waisted ripped denim bottoms by Balenciaga, for her Friday afternoon shoot.
The mother of four paired the look with blue heels, adding the Chanel necklace and pink bag. Kim wore her long brunette hair in waves around her, opting for a deep side part.
The gorgeous star wore pink lipstick on her pout, adding soft brown smokey eye makeup to round out her chic look.
Usher was announced as the Super Bowl halftime show headliner on Sunday – with Kim being apart of the announcement.
In the clip, Kim calls Usher while he’s in the studio to tell him he’s the chosen Super Bowl halftime show performer.
Usher is the headliner for Super Bowl LVIII halftime show presented by Apple Music, which takes place on February 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
She rocks the Chanel necklace, the white tee and deeply parted locks in the announcement clip shared on Wednesday – with her hair guru Chris Appleton making an appearance in the ad.
The star also rocked another vintage Chanel look – this time with her daughter North – for sister Kourtney Kardashian’s baby shower.
Kourtney is expecting a baby boy with husband Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker.
The mother-daughter duo both wore crop tops from the same show that featured the necklace – Chanel’s Spring 1995 ready to wear collection.
Kim wore the yellow top – wore by supermodel Naomi Campbell – and North wore the orange one – wore by Claudia Schiffer.
Kim and North both paired the iconic tops with black skirts, with Kim adding platform heels and North choosing boots.
Kim has been rocking a number of vintage items on her Instagram, including another Chanel collectors item – the 1996 spring/summer pink velour ʙικιɴι.
The rare ʙικιɴι retails for $7K. Kim shares four kids with ex-husband 46-year-old rapper Kanye West: North, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and Psalm, four.
Kim filed for divorce in February 2021 just before what would have been the pair’s seventh wedding anniversary.
Kardashian, who was represented by divorce attorney Laura Wᴀsser, was declared legally single March 2022 while in the midst of a H๏τ and heavy romance with now-ex boyfriend SNL alum Pete Davidson.
In November 2022, Kim and Kanye’s divorce was finalized, with Kanye agreeing to pay $200,000 a month in child support and equal custody.
Kanye ‘married’ Yeezy architect Bianca Censori, 28, in January 2023; they did not file a marriage certificate so the union is not considered legal.
The time of the romance is also unclear, but Bianca has been employed by Kanye’s Yeezy brand since joining the company in November 2020.
She is listed as Head of Architecture and secured the position after reportedly obtaining a Master’s in Building Design at Melbourne University in Australia.
