The Colombian is loved by millions all over the world and they adore her for her musical prowess. However, the recent accusations against her might result in the same fans raising their eyebrows at her. The 46-year-old was already making headlines for targeting her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique‘s father through her sharp lyrics in ‘El Jefe’.

As reported by las estrellas, two days ago, actor and model Alex appeared on the Spanish program ‘Y Ahora Sonsoles’ and revealed his terrible experience working with Shakira. Alex was a part of the pop star’s music video, ‘Monotonia.’ The Spanish actor revealed that the shoot was complicated and tense. Moreover, they were only paid $58 for an 8-hour day. Alex detailed how the artists, including him, had to get to the filming location on their own, and everything was handled with strict secrecy.

Speaking further on the same topic, Alex also revealed a bizarre rule that the artists had to follow. He said, “It was a complicated day and in addition to that they told us that we could not look at her face, at no time could we look at her.” Alex added, “During the entire filming of the video clip, they told us that we couldn’t look at her face. In fact, when we arrived, we didn’t know who she was.”

After the shocking revelation, the Spanish actor claimed that they were not paid anything extra, even after the song became a huge hit with millions of views on YouTube. Shakira’s songs are undoubtedly becoming colossal hits; however, now it has become a trend that, along with the success, she also became the center of controversy.

Shakira’s latest song, ‘El Jefe’, became a huge hit and was wholeheartedly accepted by millions around the world. The lyrics of the song narrate the tale of what working under a terrible boss feels like. She sang about the boss, who does not appreciate the workers for the hard work they put into getting the job done. Ironically, the artists who worked under her considered Shakira a terrible boss who was not thankful to those who worked for her.
