It seems almost crazy to think of a time when Taylor Swift was considered wasn’t cool. Even weirder, Swift didn’t think she was cool either! Yep, the musician once admitted that she never felt like she was cool or Sєxy — but explained how that’s actually a huge strength.
The singer was candid when speaking with CBS This Morning back in 2014 and it’s since been shared on TikTok by creator @ucanhearitinthesilence13.
“My life doesn’t gravitate towards being edgy, Sєxy, or cool,” Swift explained in the interview. “I am just naturally not any of those things,” she added.
Of course, we think millions of Swifties around the world would disagree.
“What are you? In your head, what are you?” the interviewer asked from off-screen.
“I’m imaginative. I’m smart. And I’m hardworking,” she answered. “Those things are not necessarily prioritized in pop culture,” she added.
We don’t know. That answer sounded pretty cool to use. We mean, what’s cooler than a woman who is smart, creative, and hardworking?
