N-B-YAY Kim Kardashian drops big Skims news with major collaboration as she shows off fit figure in tight leggings on NYC trip

KIM Kardashian has announced an official partnership between her undergarment company Skims and the NBA.

The Kardashians star received mixed reviews from fans last week as she recruited professional athletes to pose in her new Skims Men’s collection.

Now Kim, 43, has shared her newest career venture – an official partnership with the NBA. The National Basketball Association took to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday morning to post the news.

The sports league shared a picture, originally taken on September 28, of the reality star holding a basketball while standing next to the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.

Kim showed off her thin figure in a pink Chanel coat and black SKIMS leggings paired with pointed-toe black booties.

She went for full glam makeup and had her hair in a slicked-back ponytail for the occasion. In a second pH๏τo, the TV personality posed with two NBA executives for a smiling sH๏τ.

The post was captioned: “Introducing the SKIMS and NBA partnership. SKIMS is now the Official Underwear Partner of the NBA.”

In the comments, some fans were not enthused by the partnership as one wrote: “Why are we letting her sponsor us?” “NBA is finished man,” a second complained.

SKIMS FOR MEN

Kim’s newest career venture came shortly after the news broke that her men’s line raked in millions during the first five minutes of the launch.

The Hulu star released Sєxy ads with Nick Bosa, 26, and Neymar, 21 to announce the launch, sending fans into a frenzy. On Thursday, October 26, sources told TMZ the fashion line had the biggest day of sales.

The SKIMS website received traffic records and pulled in about 25,000 orders within the first five minutes of its opening. The shapewear brand has expanded into briefs, undershirts, and boxers.

Prices for the menswear items range from $16 to $54.

“The men’s category as a whole has really been a race to the bottom, of multi-packs and discounts,” Skims co-founder Jens Grede told the Wall Street Journal on Monday, October 23.

“We’re trying to excel and show men that there’s just a different level of comfort and performance you can have in your first layer.”

In her press release, Kim stated: “The expansion into the menswear space is a major milestone for the brand and a testament to Skims’ commitment to providing solutions for everybody.”

The campaign included shirtless pH๏τos of its model lineup including the San Francisco 49ers’ Nick, the Brazilian soccer star Neymar, and Oklahoma City Thunders player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

In the steamy ads, Neymar – who is set to miss the rest of the season – posed in boxers.

The soccer star exposed his tatted ink on display in the topless snaps. The 31-year-old star suffered an ACL injury while against Uruguay.

Also on Monday, in an interview with GQ, th star revealed the inspiration for the athletic angle came from “experiencing sports with my kids, having it be a part of our daily life with my daughter who loves basketball, my son [who] plays American football and soccer.

“Having someone from each sport, and me traveling the world to go to these soccer games with my son and all of his friends — getting some of their idols in the campaign is like a ‘pinch me’ moment.”
