Kim Kardashian Says Kourtney Is Her Go-To for ‘Mom Advice’ as They Open Up About Being Compared to Kids’ Dads

The sisters admit they have the most in common when it comes to their parenting journey.

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker may not see eye to eye on everything, but parenting brings the sisters together.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the mom of four, 43, laments to her big sister that she had “the hardest week with the kids. It’s kind of comical if you think about it.”

“Kourtney is definitely the one I go to for my mom advice. I think her and I have a lot in common when it comes to parenting stuff.”

“I think we also have older kids so we go through more similar things,” the soon-to-be mom of four chimes in.

The sisters agree they’re there for each other when it comes to parenting “no matter what kind of fight we’re going through” because they both have common ground raising their kids with their exes. The SKIMS co-founder shares Psalm, 4, Chicago, 5, Saint, 7½, and North, 10, with ex Kanye West, while Kourtney co-parents Reign Aston, 8, Penelope, 11, and Mason Dash, 13, with ex Scott Disick.

After detailing a difficult school drop off that morning that saw North “throw a fit” and Chicago need the bathroom in an area where there was none, Kim admits, “Nothing is good enough.”

Explaining that North “wouldn’t speak to me” after taking Saint on a solo trip, Kim tried to figure out how to keep her oldest happy.

“But what if you don’t make it so extreme and do a private dinner with North or something. Go on a walk, go on a hike, go for tea,” Kourtney suggests.

“I think I have a more gentle approach with my kids. I find that coming from a more loving approach works best.”

“I feel that way, but with a little bit of tough love and a little bit of frazzled ‘S–t what is going on? Get the f–k over here’ energy also,” Kim admits, saying “I definitely think we’re different in that way.”

In the scene, Kim explains to Kourtney that North will make her feel like things are better when she’s spending time at her dads.

“And then North, she’ll go to her dads and she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.”

Kourtney admits her kids do the same with Disick, saying “the vibe is better” at his house. “I think everything falls on the parent that’s more involved,” Kourtney concludes.
