Kim Kardashian Says More Is More in This Maximalist Winter Look

The mogul paired a rare Hermès Birkin with a mᴀssive fur coat

There is no such thing as quiet luxury in the eyes of Kim Kardashian. Known for her ultra-luxe red-carpet looks and skintight off-duty athleisure outfits, the reality star and entrepreneur stepped out in the most Kim K winter look ever today in New York City, to kick off the holiday season.

The maximalist outfit had two main stars: a mᴀssive gray faux-fur coat, and a ludicrously capacious gray crocodile Hermès Birkin weekender bag. (A similar, used style is being sold for $86,965.44 at Vestiaire Collective.)

Kardashian layered the furry coat over a black pop-collar hoodie and matching slouchy sweatpants. The Skims founder then paired her signature shoe choice with the sweats: Balenciaga’s sleek knife booties.

Kardashian further accessorized with sporty black sunglᴀsses, and for glam opted for her go-to bronzy contoured makeup and a slicked-back, side-parted low bun.

Kardashian’s shockingly large weekender Birkin may be her most luxurious, but it’s not the only one in her designer closet (which is spread out among her homes and various storage units).

This summer, she coordinated a rare Birkin to her monochrome outfit while attending a pro soccer match in Osaka, Japan.

The fit was made up of a skintight beige scoop-neck bodysuit, grayish-beige motocross-style Balenciaga pants with ribbed detailing at the knees, pointy cobalt-blue heels, and an ivory-and-brown crocodile Himalaya Birkin with white gold hardware. The ultra-luxe piece is made by dyeing the skin from a Nile crocodile, and retails for anywhere from $150,000 to $600,000.
