Shakira Wore Four Incredible Looks for the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards

The singer, who took home three awards, took her sons as her dates

Shakira won the night at the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

The singer took home three awards at the event: Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” and Best Urban/Fusion Performance for “TQG,” her collaboration with Karol G.

This year, the award show was held outside the United States for the first time, instead taking place in Seville, Spain. For the occasion, Shakira brought her two sons, Milan and Sasha, as her adorable dates.

While onstage, the pop star dedicated her awards to her children, saying: “I have promised them I will be happy.”

In her speech, Shakira also spoke about “tough moments” in her life—following her split from longtime partner Gerard Piqué—and thanked her Spanish audience, “who has been there with me through the good and bad times.”

While the singer recently moved to Miami with her kids, she lived in Spain for a decade with Piqué, who played for the Barcelona pro soccer team. “In those hard and tough moments I’ve experienced here in this country, I have loved so much, but at no moment has stopped giving me love and support,” she said.

To celebrate the evening, Shakira showed out in four different fabulous looks. The singer performed her dance hits in a skintight, sheer catsuit with a blue geometric pattern. She also took the stage to sing by the piano, in a strapless golden gown by Dolce & Gabbana with an image of the Virgin Mary in the center and dazzling white crystals all over. The bodice of the dress was a sparkling corset, while the long skirt featured a high leg slit. Shakira wore it with golden platform sandals adorned with large white pearls and gems.

Her other gowns were just as dazzling. The star walked the red carpet in an asymmetric black velvet dress by Harris Reed with a structured golden bodice, side cutouts, a high leg slit, and a long train. She paired it with golden platform sandals and gold jewelry.

And at the end of the night, Shakira collected her awards in another sparkling gown: a knitted emerald-green dress covered in sequins. The halter-neck piece was open on the sides and held together by woven ropes, which doubled as neck straps and ran down to her ankles. She wore the striking piece with the same gold platforms.
