TREE-LY CUTE Kylie Jenner shows off humble little Christmas tree as rival sisters Kourtney and Kim battle for most lavish decorations
KYLIE Jenner has given fans a glimpse of her surprisingly simple festive decor.
The Hulu star showed off her Christmas tree on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening. In the pH๏τo, Kylie, 26, snapped a pic inside her $36 million mansion in Los Angeles.
Kylie had her lights dimmed, showing off the humble Christmas tree placed against a wall. The reality television star opted for a tall, skinny tree, covered in silver tinsel all over.
It was decorated with traditional ornaments, with little angels and Santa Claus figures hanging from the branches, alongside simple white lights.
This week, Kylie’s family announced that they were toning down Christmas and ditching their yearly Christmas card pH๏τo.
Khloe Kardashian, 38, wrote on Snapchat: “As our family grew it got a little trickier (anyone with kids knows how impossible it is to get multiple kids to look at the camera lol)
“And so we decided to leave that tradition in the past for now, but I’m all about taking as many pH๏τos as we can.” Kylie herself has two young children with her ex, rapper Travis Scott, 32 – daughter Stormi, 5, and son Aire, 1.
DOUBLE TAKE
While Kylie has kept things simple this Christmas, Kim Kardashian, 43, shocked fans with her extravagant displays.
Alongside 15 huge frosted Christmas trees, the star opted for unique white fluffy shapes lining the inside of her house. However, the white minimalist trees fell flat with fans, with many likening the decorations to tampons.
Taking to Reddit, one user reposted pH๏τos and added: “NOTHING screams ‘The Christmas Spirit’ like Kim’s giant Tampons and Toilet Paper.”
Others chimed in to agree, with a second writing: “Their house looks like a hospital.”
“Like put lights on them at least?!! Girl you do you with your weird ‘minimalist’ aesthetic but you’re crazy if you don’t think these don’t look like damn cotton balls and tampons and s**t,” a third wrote.
A fourth agreed: “Holy s**t they look EXACTLY like tampons!!!!” “I’ve never hated anyone’s aesthetic more than Kim’s. How bland. Where’s the seasoning,” a fifth commented.
BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS
Unlike Kim, Kylie’s oldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, 44, also opted for a more humble approach to the holidays. Last week, Kourtney took to Instagram to show off her holiday decorations.
The Kardashians typically go all out for any holiday, but Kourtney opted for a modest, natural Christmas tree.
It was decorated with only string lights and no ornaments. Kourtney welcomed her baby boy on November 1, shared with husband Travis Barker, 47.
Kourtney is yet to show off Rocky Thirteen Barker, and many fans hope that Christmas will be their first glimpse of the baby.
