Miley Cyrus Performs Cover of Journey’s 1983 Single

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to rock influences. The singer has brought her soaring vocals to tracks throughout rock music’s history, from Led Zeppelin to Metallica. She also released her own rock album in 2020, Plastic Hearts.

For her latest cover, Cyrus delivered a moving rendition of Journey’s “Faithfully.” The ballad appeared on the band’s 1983 album Frontiers, penned by Jonathan Cain.

Cyrus performs “Faithfully” in front of a live audience at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont.

Singing in front of a Christmas tree, the black and white video shows the singer talking to the crowd in between verses.

“You know the words to this one – there are none. It’s ‘woah,’” she jokes before diving into the chorus.

In March, Cyrus dropped her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation. The project marked her first body of work since departing from RCA Records and inking a new deal with Columbia.
