Shakira finally safe after a terrible scare: Her alleged stalker arrested in Miami

Shakira has had a Miami stalker arrested after he showed up randomly at her house, scaring her and her two children.

The Colombian moved to Miami with her children in April 2023 after the turbulent separation from the former-Barcelona soccer player Gerard Pique following 11 years of marriage after they met at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Now, according to WSVN, a 56-year-old man from Texas, has been arrested on Monday following allegations of stalking the popular musician. WSVN reports that the man sent the Colombian artist “alarming and disturbing” messages on social media too.

For this reason, Shakira has been forced to put the matter in the hands of her lawyers. The Waka Waka singer, after feeling fear and even seeing how he approached her mansion, feared for her integrity but particularly for her children, Sasha, and Milan.

The situation was even more tense when she discovered that the alleged stalker was at the door of her house, where he had arrived by cab. At that point he was arrested by the Miami Beach police, for which he now faces charges of stalking Shakira.

The Colombian is not the only artist who has faced a situation of this nature. Another well-known case is that of Taylor Swift.

The singer has been surprised, on more than one occasion, by a stranger who snuck into her house to try to approach her although they might think twice now that she’s dating the 6ft5in, 250lb, NFL player, Travis Kelce.

The Colombian singer is still living there and after her arrival she denounced the presence of two stalkers.

In addition, the artist encountered graffiti of one of them asking her to marry him, but not only that: the alleged harᴀsser shouted at her from the street and also insulted journalists.

On the other hand, a French fan appeared and left letters in her mailbox. The artist has already filed two complaints in this regard.
