Kim Kardashian gives ‘George Washington’ with woven hairstyle ‘fail’, say critics
Kim Kardashian is known to break the mold when it comes to fashion. But, this June she might have outdone herself as she shows off a new woven hairstyle. The mom of four also shared some snaps captioned: “cream dream” this summer as she sports fresh bleach blond locks.
Khloé Kardashian was usually known for being the ‘blond sister’ but these days Kim Kardashian is repping a seriously platinum ‘do. Fans already weighed in on her altering her looks earlier this year. Her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, shared how it took “a couple of sessions” to achieve Kim’s “icy” look. But, many of her fans expressed fears her hair had been “fried” in the process.

Both Kim and her hairstylist, Chris, took to Instagram this June to share her new hairstyle. The 43-year-old poses in the sliders of snaps looking away from the camera as well as towards the lens.
Kim wears a toned-down ɴuᴅᴇ outfit, making her ‘woven’ hair the real stand-out star of the post. The SKIMS founder posted her pictures without a caption, but Chris posted with three chainlink emojis.
His post prompted some fans to comment: “I don’t know about this one, Chris,” although some also posted: “Whoa, love this Chris…”
Fans say it’s giving ‘George Washington’
As Kim shows off her creativity, many people share their first thoughts of the look in the star’s Instagram comments. One person jokes: “She getting ready to write the Declaration of Independence” and more write: “OK George Washington.” Another simply asks: “Kim, what is this?”
Many more make “George Washington” comparisons over Kim’s new look. Some suggest the styling is a “fail,” and others compare the style to home items.
The Hulu star has her tresses compared to a “wicker laundry basket,” a “knitted rug,” and another critic quips: “It’s giving placemat.” People also analyze Kim’s hair health once again, saying the locks “look so damaged.”
However, there are some who are here for it, commenting how the plaits are “iconic.”
One fan writes how they want a tutorial on the look, writing: “This is actually so cool,” another says: “I actually really like when she gets artsy like this and barely has on any makeup.”
The braided hair post came just before Kim also shared some new snaps of herself in an all-beige outfit.
While some comment they’re “too poor to understand” the richest member of the Kardashians’ fashion choice, others tell Kim: “You’re gorgeous, but that outfit is hideous.”
