Emma Roberts Says Kim Kardashian Was ‘Very Normal’ on Set of AHS: ‘She Doesn’t Have a Huge Entourage’

Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian’s friendship came full circle on American Horror Story: Delicate.

Roberts, 33, appeared on the iHeartPodcast Table for Two — hosted by Bruce Bozzi — on Tuesday, June 25 and had nothing but great things to say about the SKIMS founder, 43. She revealed that AHS creator Ryan Murphy called her one day with the idea to have Kardashian play her publicist — and Roberts thought it was “genius.”

“She is one of the most prepared actors I’ve worked with,” Roberts admitted. “I mean I’ve come to work sometimes and people — that I won’t name, but you know who — they don’t know their lines at all, which, whatever, it’s fine, we all have those days. But she knew every single line,”

The Scream Queens alum praised Kardashian for her work ethic and confidence on set.

“She also will just look you in the eye and do it,” she said. “To be that open and vulnerable — and I get embarrᴀssed sometimes and I’ve been acting for 20 years — she’s super professional, confident.”

She continued: “And just the way that she carries herself, she doesn’t have a huge entourage, she’s very normal. And that was also really inspiring to see.”

Looking back to when she first met Kardashian, Roberts revealed she used to shop at the Kardashian sisters’ store before Keeping Up With The Kardashians even existed.

“I used to buy jeans from them at DASH in Calabasas,” Roberts recalled, going on to say that the two joked about how far they both have come since then.

“I think I was like 12 or 13,” she reminisced. “This is right before they did their show and I had a show on Nickelodeon and thought it was so cool that I could afford to buy seven jeans at DASH from working.”

“At the end of the day, we’re just two girls from Calabasas,” she added.

In April, Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and talked about her experience filming the hit series.

“I called my sisters and I go, ‘Guys. You — not to say you’d ever want to get into acting — but you are so lucky you can wake up and just, we can sit in bed and film, and you don’t have to get up, hair and makeup, film at your own hours, like there is no schedule,'” she shared, referring to their reality show The Kardashians.
