Taylor Swift Was ‘So Happy’ to ‘Just Be’ With Travis Kelce After Month Apart

Taylor Swift was thrilled to see her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in Rhode Island last weekend after the two spent over a month apart, a source told Us Weekly. The insider detailed why Swift threw a party for Kelce and her friends at her Watch Hill, Rhode Island, beach house. It was not just a birthday party for Blake Lively, the insider shared, but rather a “preplanned” celebration of Swift concluding the European leg of her Eras Tour. She played her last show in London on August 20.

“Taylor has been on tour and working nonstop, and she loves the Rhode Island house and wanted to spend some time there while the weather is still good and she can enjoy it,” the source said. Swift was joined there by Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and more friends.

With Kelce particularly, “she was so happy to reunite with him and just be together,” the insider added. Kelce and Swift were last seen together at her July 18 Eras Tour show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Kelce began training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs days later. He left her beach house on Monday to return to work but professed his love for Swift during a Chiefs panel earlier this week.

Swift is doing very well back at home, the source shared, in part because she gets to be with her loved ones. “It has felt wonderful to be grounded back home again,” the source said. “It’s been grounding to see friends and family and spend quality time with everyone, chat and get downloaded on everyone’s worlds because she has been so busy and disconnected.”

Swift will resume her Eras Tour in Miami on October 18. She is expected to support Kelce during her break, with a source telling People in early July, “She’s going to try to attend as many [Chiefs] games as possible.” Kelce and the Chiefs will play their first main season game on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
