Kim Kardashian reveals how YouTube changed her family

While attending New York Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian talked about her 8-year-old son’s new YouTube channel and what it has already done for her family. On Sept. 3, Kim Kardashian revealed that she finally gave in to her son Saint’s demands and allowed him to start his own YouTube channel.

However, the mom of four had a set of rules put in place first, revealing on her Instagram story that she made Saint sign “an extensive contract” detailing the guidelines. Now, after being asked by a reporter for Entertainment Tonight about her son’s YouTube channel, Kardashian revealed that it’s boosted the relationship between Saint and his big sister, North West. “I will say, it has brought him and North closer together,” Kardashian told ET. “’Cause she’s filming his content and making him do challenges. So I filmed some behind the scenes and it’s actually a blessing in disguise.”

Kardashian said she was initially “fighting against” allowing Saint to have a YouTube channel but now admits “it’s working in my favor.”

Kardashian shared the handwritten contact she made Saint sign. “I, Saint West, agree to follow my mom’s rules in order to have a YouTube channel. I am not allowed to comment any personal family information. I am not allow to film any personal information,” the contract enforces.

“I am not allowed to film while North is recording music,” it continues. While several lines of the contract are blocked, it concludes by saying Saint “must show my mom or guardian all videos before I post them.”

“If I don’t listen to all of the rules, mom could make my page private or delete my account,” the last line of the contact reads before Saint signed it. “He better not breach,” Kardashian said alongside the contract.
