Shakira Leaves Miami Nightclub Stage After Attendee Appears to Film Up Her Skirt During Star-Studded Video Shoot

Shakira cut her stage dancing short this weekend.

During an appearance at the Miami nightclub LIV on Sunday, Sept. 15, the “Hips Don’t Lie” performer — who was celebrating her forthcoming single “Soltera” and making a video with Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons and Danna Paola — abruptly left the stage after a fan appeared to film up her skirt.

In fan-captured footage, Shakira can be seen smiling, dancing and swinging her hips as fans scream in the background.

During the clip, she can be seen pulling the bottom of her dress down and smoothing it to make sure she’s covered. Shakira then gestures to someone in the crowd pointing at her eyes as if to note she sees them looking where they shouldn’t be.

The “Whenever, Wherever” artist, 47, then places her hands on her hips and shimmies a few times before gesturing with her hand that she’s done and exiting the stage.

Reps for Shakira declined to comment, and the singer-songwriter has yet to address the incident on social media.

Last year, the “Waka Waka” hitmaker left Barcelona after eight years — the home city of her Spanish ex, Gerard Piqué — to settle in Miami with their children Sasha, 9, and Milan, 11.

In an Instagram post, Shakira shared a farewell message to the city, revealing she was leaving after the split to start “a new chapter.”

An English translation of the post read: “I settled in Barcelona to give my sons stability, the same that we are now looking for in another corner of the world besides family, friends and the sea. Today we started a new chapter in the search for happiness.”

The Grammy-winning singer thanked “everyone who surfed many waves with me in Barcelona, the city where I learned that without a doubt, friendship is longer than love.”

Shakira also seemingly addressed her split with Piqué, 37, after 11 years in June 2022.

“Thank you to everyone there who encouraged me, dried my tears, inspired me and made me grow. Thank you to the Spanish public who always wrapped me up with care and loyalty. For you all this is just a see you later and, like my father always said, we’ll see you in the curves!” she wrote.
