Kanye West angers local veterans as he ‘plans secret comeback concert in Italy

It’s not new news that Kanye West is angering Italians, but he seemed to anger a very specific demographic recently.

The rapper is reportedly planning a secret comeback concert in the European country, allegedly angering Italian World War Two veterans. They’re are calling for a ban on Kanye’s performance according to the Daily Mail. Reportedly they’re angry and offended by the rapper’s statements praising Adolf Hitler

“Someone can be a fantastic singer but then they are also judged by what they say, and West has made some inhumane declarations and with what’s happening in the world today we cannot accept this concert,” he continued.

The Reggio Emilia regional president of ANPI, Ermete Fiaccadori, also shared his thoughts on Kanye performing in his country. “First of all let me just say that I hope this concert does not go ahead, this artist has a large following of youngsters, but his message is disquieting,” he said.

“I’m speechless that he cannot understand what he Is saying, broadcasting a gross misunderstanding of what Adolf Hitler was in the course of history,” Ermete said, “As an organization, we condemn this concert totally and we are very concerned about what message it conveys.”
