Kanye West makes $1.35million in 12 HOURS after announcing Donda 2 album will only be on his $200 Stem player as he shares earnings details… and pokes fun at move costing him Apple deal

Kanye West flabbergasted his fans as he revealed  his new Donda 2 album will only be available exclusively on his own device Stem Player which costs $200.

But the controversial move has already proved to be a fruitful one monetarily just hours after the artist’s latest attempt at thwarting the music industry.

The 44-year-old All Of The Lights hitmaker took to Instagram to show off a full earnings report of his music playing device as it revealed that it has already made $1.358million in just the 12 hours after his announcement. Instead of being able to listen to the album on Apple Music, Spotify or other streaming services, fans will be required to shell out $200 to listen to the album on the music gadget. The screensH๏τ of the report showed that their were 6,217 Stem Player units sold since his announcement and that it has earned $8.63million in sales since launch on August 25, 2021.

‘Some say I’m the only one who can make this change. So as the leading innovator in music of the past 20 years. I’m putting my own work on the line to change it. I’ve already won by not being afraid to move.

‘Now we’re winning because there are true supporters that have invested their hard earned money in my vision of freedom. I love and appreciate everyone who believes my promise of creating a brighter future.’
