Kanye West’s struggle to release new album as ‘no record label wants to touch him’

Kanye West is said to be “struggling” to get his new album released, with some record labels keen to steer clear of the rapper after his antisemitic comments last year.

The 46-year-old hitmaker, who has been hitting headlines recently thanks to his marriage to Bianca Censori, is said to have completed an entire new album with fellow rap superstar Ty Dolla $ign.Last year Kanye famously made some hateful remarks about Jews, with the ongoing war and conflict in Israel is said to only be fueling the hesitation from labels who are steering clear of the rapper off the back of his comments from a year ago.

But although some leading labels are pᴀssing on swooping up Ye’s new project, the rapper is still “shopping for a partner to distribute” his collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, with them said to be “considering five different offers”.

The outlet also reports that Kanye “will make a decision soon” with the album set to release in a few weeks if everything goes to plan.

Last year Kanye shocked the world when he took to social media to pen: “Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

He then followed his comments up a few days later when he tweeted: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con [sic] 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”
