Kendall Jenner Meant Business in a Vintage Alaïa Blazer for Paris Fashion Week

The supermodel looked the part of a Parisian in an ensemble comprised of quiet luxury staples

Kendall Jenner’s inventory of vintage pieces could spark the envy of even the most seasoned stylist, and it appeared that she was pulling from the archives yet again when she stepped out in France this morning for the first day of Paris Fashion Week.

The newly blonde model looked the part of a local as she strolled through the City of Love, wearing a fit comprised of understated pieces that created an altogether sophisticated look.

Up top, Jenner layered a black mock-neck shirt under a gray blazer in a glen check pattern, which appeared to be a vintage piece from the Alaïa Fall/Winter 1988 ready-to-wear collection. That season, blazers were sent down the runway with notched lapels and vented back hems that flared out slightly from the tight center, while slit pockets at the bottom added some shape to the silhouette as well.

While the top half of the outfit channeled an overall businesswear vibe, the Kardashians star added a more casual touch by slipping into straight-leg blue jeans, which also brought some color to the otherwise neutral-toned look. However, she circled back to quiet luxury with her bag, which was a Kelly Dépêches 36 briefcase from Hermès (which retails for almost $12,000 in the United States).

Since her blazer and bag spoke volumes, Jenner went more understated with the rest of her accessories, adding a few more touches of black with a pair of Mary Jane flats and her go-to thin sunglᴀsses.
