Kim Kardashian’s new lip gloss promotion has caused a stir on social media, with fans dubbing the clip “forced” and “cringy.”
On Wednesday, the reality star posted an Instagram video showcasing her new Skkn By Kim lip gloss, from the beauty brand Kardashian launched in 2022.
In the snippet, Kardashian walks through a field of wildflowers while wearing a 1970s-inspired bell-sleeve top and flowing maxi skirt. Her ice-blonde hair styled in low-key waves, the 43-year-old applies the lip gloss before striking poses for the camera.
“Meet your new @skkn summer essentials: a sheer, cushiony Lip Gloss that builds color and shine with every swipe and a light-catching, buildable Highlighter with an effortlessly luminous finish,” she wrote alongside the video.
However, the clip drew mixed reactions from fans, who felt the scene wasn’t The Kardashians star’s usual “vibe.”
