Looking back to when Selena Gomez publicly declared that she was “so done” with Justin Bieber

The love life of larger-than-life pop singers, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber has been just as enthralling as their music.

The two had a long sometimes on-sometimes off relationship from 2009 onwards, going to the extent of writing songs for each other when in love and writing about heartbreak in their ‘off’ phases.

Those relationship blues were finally put to rest when Justin Bieber got engaged and later married to model Hailey Baldwin and the two seem to be doing well together now as a couple, even writing about each other’s health ups and downs on social media and attending parties and events together.

Selena and Justin seemed to be at each other’s throats for a while back in 2015-2016 when news of Justin kissing Hailey for the first time in public at St Barts became known.

At that point, Selena had reportedly told an interviewer in disgust: “I am so beyond done with talking about that and him.” She added that she still cared for Justin and his health, but said that she “can’t do it anymore”.

Then, there was a time when Hailey and Selena seemed to have a misunderstanding about the relationship status of both Justin and Selena at the time when the former had teamed up with Justin.

That was, however, cleared up between the two ladies and all seems well now. Selena is now reportedly seeing singer Zayn Malik, but whether this is just a rumour or true, is still to be known. Meanwhile, Zayn is busy co-parenting with his ex, Gigi Hadid. The ex-couple share a child together.
