Miley Cyrus Reflects on the Significance of her Malibu Home
In a recent TikTok video, Miley Cyrus spoke fondly about the Malibu home she once shared with her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
Despite their relationship ending, Cyrus holds positive memories of the house and its impact on her life. She revealed that she recorded her first solo album, “Meet Miley Cyrus,” in that very home.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the Malibu home, which she later purchased from her producer Matthew Wilder in 2016, burned down during the devastating Woolsey fire in 2018.
At the time of the fire, Cyrus was in South Africa filming an episode for “Black Mirror.” Thankfully, Hemsworth was there to save their pets and evacuate the property.
Despite losing her home, Cyrus displayed immense strength and graтιтude. In the aftermath of the fire, she tweeted her appreciation for the safety of her loved ones and the memories they shared. It was a reminder for her to focus on what truly matters.
Cyrus also discussed how her debut album, released under her own name, was intentionally paired with a Hannah Montana release.
This strategic decision aimed to emphasize the connection between her alter ego and her true self. She explained that, at the time, she was not valued as much as Hannah Montana and wanted to help people understand that she was the voice behind the character.
In a separate TikTok video, Cyrus provided insight into her life as a child star with two idenтιтies. She described her hectic schedule, which involved waking up early for hair and makeup, attending interviews throughout the day, and meeting with editors. Despite the demanding nature of her career, Cyrus expressed her desire for a well-deserved vacation.
