Sound Issues at Donda 2 Listening Event Cause Kanye West to Dramatically Discard Microphone

Kanye West threw his microphone to the ground as sound problems interfered with the second half of his Donda 2 listening event in Miami on Tuesday night.

In video of the show, the rapper, 44, was seen chucking the mic across the stage in the midst of performing Jail, Pt. 2.

Kanye’s latest listening event, held at the LoanDepot Park and streamed on stemplayer.com, initially started off smoothly before completely falling apart at the end, according to TMZ.

According to XXL, the sound issues impacted the second half of the concert.

Kanye was sharing the stage with accused rapist Marilyn Manson as he sang Jail, and began uttering some of the lyrics into the microphone before he reached his hands towards his ears and threw the mic onto the floor.

Several audience members told TMZ the sound issues were not as apparent as they were to those watching the event via streaming.

In his latest listening event, Kanye continued rocking the boat with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and took a swipe at her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.

West was officially premiering his latest album, yet then failed to release the track.

The star had previously vowed to drop the album on Tuesday exclusively on his own device Stem Player which costs $200.

Ahead of his new track Sci-Fi, West included a sample of Kardashian’s Saturday Night Live opening monologue, in which she said: ‘I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.’
