What happened with Taylor Swift on July 9th?
July 9th is believed to be the day when a much-younger Taylor went to Texas to see one of her former musician boyfriends perform.

The date in question is also mentioned in Last Kiss, as the lyrics read: “I do recall now, the smell of the rain fresh on the pavement. I ran off the planet that July ninth, the beat of your heart. It jumps through your shirt and I can still feel your arms.”

The song navigates the singer’s emotions, mostly grim, from an unexpected breakup.

Last Kiss is the 13th track on TayTay’s third studio album from 2010. If you are wondering who she could have been talking about, the entire project was rumored to be about Joe Jonas!

Speak Now Taylor’s Version is slated for July 7th release
In a long post that followed her on-stage announcement, Taylor sounded super excited about celebrating Speak Now in her own version.

It is scheduled to drop on July 7th, but fans can pre-order it from Taylor’s online store site starting today.

Reflecting on her younger self and life as a teenager transitioning to adulthood, the singer shared: “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness.”

The upcoming album will feature 22 songs, including six unreleased songs from the vault.
