Kanye West is accused of cheating on Kim Kardashian with a high-profile singer while she struggled to regain her confidence following the birth of their second child.
The controversial rapper’s separation from reality TV star Kim – with whom he shares four children – was confirmed in February, six years after their romantic Italian wedding.
Sources have since claimed he was unfaithful to his wife shortly after welcoming son Saint, now five – with the other woman believed to be a global star in her own right
An insider told The Sun: ‘Kanye cheated on Kim with an A-list singer. At the time it happened, Kanye was mainly living in his bachelor pad in Hollywood because it was closer to his studio and he wasn’t going to go home to Kim and newborn baby when he’d been partying late in the studio.’
The source added that Kanye’s infidelity came during a turbulent time in their marriage, with body-conscious Kim putting herself through early morning exercise routines having gained extra weight during her pregnancy, while he frequently stayed away from the family home.
The rapper’s track Hurricane – one of the takeaways from his latest album, Donda – also prompted infidelity rumours with its suggestive lyrics, reports PageSix.
‘Here I go actin’ too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / Still playin’ after two kids / It’s a lot to digest when your life always movin” he raps during the track, a collaboration with The Weeknd.
‘The song is in a way his testimony of everything he did wrong and taking accountability for their marriage breakdown,’ one source said of the song’s potential meaning.
