END OF AN ERA Kim Kardashian to shut down business after more than a decade as she plans ‘to focus that energy into other pᴀssions’

KIM Kardashian has chosen to shut down her mobile game after releasing it nearly a decade ago.

The Kardashians star originally launched her roleplaying game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, with Glu Mobile in 2014.

The game has been wiped from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with a notice informing current users that it will no longer be accepting in-app purchases.

Users with the app already downloaded will be able to use the game’s features until it is shut down on April 8. The video game was created with a goal for users to increase their fame and popularity as they make their way to the A-list.

Kim, 43, told TMZ: “I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian Hollywood in the past 10 years.

“This journey has meant so much to me but I’ve realized that it’s time to focus that energy into other pᴀssions.

“I want to thank the Glu team and the many people behind the scenes who have worked diligently on making it a success. I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together,” she finished.

The game reportedly made $1.6 million just days after its 2014 release, garnering a mixed bag of reviews.

BUSY KIM

Along with starring in her family’s Hulu series, Kim owns clothing line Skims, as well as her skincare brand Skkn.

She has officially crossed over from reality TV to acting, recently starring in American Horror Story: Delicate alongside Emma Roberts, 32.

Kim has also been pursuing her law degree while being a mom to the four kids she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West, 46.

The businesswoman has recently been increasing her paid ad participation on social media as well, sharing a video to promote another brand just days ago.

Just before New Year’s, Kim posted several slides and videos to her Instagram Stories showing off a liquid IV powder that promised to prevent hangovers.

Her posts were tagged with links to learn more, along with the disclosure that they were indeed paid ads.

However, not every Kardashian cash grab has been a success, as fans mocked Kim’s “failed” business venture in August – saying she had “overestimated” her success after low sales.

Kim became the newest spokesperson for Alani energy drinks and released the flavor collab, Kimade by Kim, this year.

A grocery store snapsH๏τ of her Alani display, fully stocked with cases of energy drinks, was posted on a Kardashians dedicated Reddit board.

The post was sarcastically тιтled: “It’s flying off the shelves.”
