Entertainer Frances Tiafoe Brings Miley Cyrus Frenzy to Laver Cup as an Unexpected Desire Sends Teammates Into Amusement

Frances Tiafoe is way more interesting than just playing cool tennis. The 25-year-old American tennis player did great at the US Open and made a successful run till the quarterfinal. But do you know that, apart from playing great tennis, the 2022 US Open semi-finalist also carries a unique and cool taste in music? Like a true Gen Z tennis player, while preparing for the Laver Cup, Tiafoe revealed his favorite song he desired to hear as the Team World theme song, leaving all of his fans shocked.

As the Laver Cup is about to start, Team World is sharing some amazing moments together before the event. Recently, the official Twitter account of the event shared a video in which the team members were all dressed up in proper black suits while they answered some out-of-the-box questions. At one point the interviewer asked them, “If Team World had a theme song, what would it be?”

While Taylor Fritz and Chris Eubanks, among other teammates, were thinking about a theme song, the 11th-ranked tennis player shared the song that he would keep as a theme song for Team World. He said, “Probably Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.”

Hearing this out-of-the-blue answer, his teammates were quite stunted and shocked at the same time, questioning whether this is what he could think of when asked about a theme song.

Notably, though, the song Wrecking Ball was released 10 years ago and is based on the theme of how the singer attempted to break free from the past. Similarly, the 2023 US Open quarterfinalist may have wanted to listen to the song as a motivational theme for his team during the Laver Cup.

Interestingly, about a month ago, Tiafoe channelized his inner music buff while making a revelation about the rapper, Drake.

Emerging as a motivation in the tennis world, the US Open star shared his unwavering determination to ignite the pre-game momentum as he crafted his court-entry anthem, an ensemble of Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar and Drake all together.

During the Cuti Open, he revealed that whenever he is walking on the court or moving through the airport, he usually listens to these three singers and vibes with them. It won’t be wrong to say that the 25-year-old tennis sensation knows how to figure out a musical masterpiece while having an amazing taste in music.
