EXCLUSIVE: Kim Kardashian will find it ‘challenging’ to rekindle Pete Davidson romance after shock decision

Kim Kardashian has been warned against rekindling her romance with Pete Davidson as one relationship expert believes they could face a lot of challenges.

The pair started dating after sharing a pᴀssionate kiss on Saturday Night Live, but their romance wasn’t meant to be and they split in August 2022 after just nine months of dating. However, a source has now claimed Kim is “lonely” and open to getting back with Pete.

However, relationship expert Louella Alderson warned against the reunion. She exclusively told The Mirror US: “Rekindling a past romance can be both exciting and challenging. Ultimately, it depends on the circumstances surrounding the rekindling of the romance.

“If both parties have grown and matured since their previous relationship, there is a possibility that it could work. However, if old issues and patterns resurface without any attempt to address and resolve them, then the chances of success may be lower.”

Kim and Pete are said to have called time on their romance after struggling with the long-distance nature of their relationship, with Pete busy filming movie ‘Wizards!’ in Australia at the time. Kim couldn’t join the comedian as she was busy raising her four children.

Kim’s life has only gotten busier since their split, with the reality star taking on extra work commitments. Louella told us: “In the case of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, it seems unlikely that they have significantly changed since their initial relationship.

“While it’s possible that Kim may miss the friendship they had, it’s important to consider why they broke up in the first place and whether those issues have been fully resolved. It also raises questions about the motivation behind wanting to reunite – is it truly love or just a desire for someone young and fun?”

Louella did suggest that Kim and Pete shouldn’t be put off by the short time they were together if they do decide to reunite. She explained: “The length of a previous relationship should not really impact the potential success of a rekindled romance.

“What matters more is the depth and quality of that relationship during those 9 months. If there were issues or incompatibilities present, they may still exist regardless of how long they were together. On the other hand, if they had a strong connection and solid foundation, then it might be possible for them to build upon that and have a successful relationship once again.”

Louella’s comments come after a source told Star magazine Kim feels as though she and Pete have “unfinished business”. They said: “She’s confident things will be different this time around. She’s craving excitement in her life and she always responded to Pete.”

They also claimed Kim has been “lonely” without Pete and has been reminiscing about how he made her feel. The source continued: “She would love to have some romance and she misses his friendship.”

Louella Alderson is a relationship expert who spoke to The Mirror on behalf of the So Syncd dating app.
