Miley Cyrus is releasing her new single on August 25 but fans immediately noticed the date is important for another female popstar.

Miley Cyrus fans are going wild after she announced a new song will be dropping later this month. But the date has proved doubly exciting for some fans after they realised Selena Gomez is also releasing new music on the same day.

Miley announced the release of her new track “Used To Be Young” on social media. Posting a picture of herself, which could be the single’s cover, she wrote: “Used To Be Young. August 25th.”

The teaser video was also released on YouTube. It can be viewed below.

While fans were excited, many thought the date was familiar to them. It turned out to be the same day Selena Gomez is releasing her new song, “Single Soon”. Fans went into meltdown.
