Fernando Alonso dating F1 commentator as Taylor Swift rumours put to bed

Fernando Alonso is reportedly in a relationship with Spanish Formula One commentator Melissa Jimenez, putting to bed rumours that the Aston Martin star is dating Taylor Swift. Fans had been certain that Alonso was seeing popstar Swift, with him even making several hints over a relationship.

However, reports in the Spanish press have linked Alonso with broadcaster Jimenez. It is claimed that the pair have been together for around two months and have been spotted together on several occasions.

Alonso reportedly visited Jimenez in Sitges, the Catalonian coastal town in south-west Barcelona. Jimenez, who was born in Belgium but has lived in Spain since aged 2, has worked as a broadcaster and commentator for DAZN for several years.

The 35-year-old married former Barcelona defender Marc Bartra in 2017 but they separated in early 2022. They had three children together

Alonso had even made several hints that he was in a relationship with the 33-year-old. In April, he uploaded a TikTok in which the song playing in the background was Swift’s ‘Karma’. Alonso then winked at the camera.
