Forget Ladylike—Taylor Swift Wants to Dress Like a Victoria’s Secret Angel

If you watched the Victoria’s Secret show last night, you must have noticed the chemistry between Taylor Swift and the models. It’s more than just showmanship too—she fits in like one of the girls and is such real-life besties with Karlie Kloss, the two started dressing alike. Tay’s got a pretty well defined style that heavily draws on ladylike, retro-inspired pieces (an argument’s even been made that the high-waisted ʙικιɴι is her signature piece), but I’d like to submit some pH๏τos as evidence for my argument that, actually, Miss Swift would like nothing more than to let her inner Victoria’s Secret Angel out to play.

*There’s the backless white dress she picked for the One Chance premiere that not only flashed some Sєxy spine but cut inward so the effect was visible from the front.

The strapless crop top and skirt combo is just tiny enough to step into Angel territory. Also lingerie-model-worthy? The faux tan that shows off her bod in the best way possible.

Super sparkles, super short, and with triangular sheer pieces at the neckline. Yep, that’s a bombshell dress if I ever saw one.

Crochet and cutout sections combined for a super-steamy after-party dress (that, not for nothing, must have also been way comfy).

And the pièce de résistance, when Taylor really went for it. It’s way shiny, strapless, and short, and she even kept her hair down. I love daring hemlines, but it makes me question when she said, “I don’t want to wear something so short that I’m scared there will be a wardrobe malfunction.” Because, honey, that’s short.
