WHILE most families will gather around the Christmas tree to open traditional presents like clothes or toys, celebrities will be going all out with extravagant gifts.

From live animals to expensive cars for kids who can’t even drive, famous folks with too much time and money on their hands often get flashy with their gifts. The holidays are always a huge deal for the Kardashian clan, especially momager Kris Jenner.

In addition to starting the tradition of hosting extravagant Christmas parties for friends and family, she gifts her loved ones over-the-top gingerbread houses each year – and the edible decorations come at a high price.

The gingerbread houses are made in the Solvang Bakery in Solvang, California, which is known as “The Danish Capital of America.”

The personalized confections have been spotted in the Kardashian-Jenner homes since at least 2016, and the family seems to get even more excited about them with each new season.

But the elaborate gingerbread houses gifted by the Kardashian family cost a pretty penny.

While the Solvang Bakery offers handmade cottages for as low as $225, a traditional manor that lights up, as some of the ones gifted by Kris do, cost a staggering $1,450.

Of course, these are far from traditional gingerbread homes.

In addition to being lit up, the manors are furnished with gingerbread sofas and an icing rug so the gingerbread men and women who live inside the home can relax comfortably.

The manors include six names, but more can be added along with a gingerbread person for each name for an additional $6. Although, compared to some of these other holiday gifts, a pricey cookie may not seem so unusual after all.

CAR-NICOPIA

Kim Kardashian is a confirmed car collector.

At Kim’s $60 million Hidden Hills mansion she once shared with ex Kanye West not-so-hidden is her love for expensive cars. For Christmas 2020, Ye gifted her with not one, not two, but five 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUVs.

And the Skims founder seems to like to share her obsession with her family – even if they can’t drive yet. In 2013, when daughter North was only 6-months-old, Kim gifted the newborn her own mini Lamborghini.

She also gave dad Kanye the matching full size version. “Like father like daughter,” Kim said an Instagram pH๏τo of the two cars side-by-side.

YOU GET A CAR

Not to be outdone in the car-giving department, momager Kris gifted all six of her children custom Moke electric cars in 2021. Kim shared the car lot to her Instagram at the time, showing off each one.

“Oh my God, look at our Christmas presents from my mom,” Kim squealed in a video. Each of the vehicles were painted a different color, making them look like ghosts in a Pac-Man game.

The cars came in yellow, baby pink, bright pink, white, orange, and baby blue. Kim continued: “Khloe and I got the pink ones.” The environmental-friendly cars can cost over $30,000 each.

WHAT’S HOPPENING?

Luke Bryan hopped to it when he gave his wife a pair of pet kangaroos. The country singer shared a video from Christmas morning of the big reveal, at first, telling his blindfolded wife he got her “two designer purses.”

But when Caroline Boyer opened the bags, a pair of cute kangaroos poked their heads out. “Oh my gosh, where did you get these?” Caroline asked while laughing.

The Bryans named the kangaroos Margo and Todd, in honor of the uptight neighbors who battle the Griswold in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

IN THE BAG

In 2019, Kim Kardashian spoiled every young female member of her family with a Louis Vuitton Speedy Mini handbag. The gifts went to her daughters North and Chicago, and nieces Penelope, Dream, Stormi, and True.

Kim shared a picture of eight miniature Louis bags, which cost around a $1,000 each. Pᴀssing on her love of designer labels early to the next generation of Kardashian women, she wrote: “I got these for all of the baby girls in the fam for Xmas from Japan.”

Following the snap, one eagle-eyed fan pointed out there were more bags then girls in the family. A followers called Lex: “Am i missing some? I counted p, north, dream, chicago, stormi true… who’s the remainder two?” (sic)

Retweeting her concern, Kim replied: “Oh wait I kept one for myself and extras for the future lol.”

KIM’S SPOILS

Kim proved in 2015 that she can get as well as she gives. Way back when they were on better terms, Kanye presented his wife with 150 Christmas gifts – in one year.

Livestreaming that year’s holiday haul, viewers noticed Kim’s name being repeated over and over. Kris Jenner’s longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble, pᴀssed out the presents.

He could be heard saying: “We’ve got ‘To Kim from Kanye.’ One-hundred-and-fifty gifts and counting.’ Among the gifts was a Louis Vuitton dress, a Prada jumpsuit, and a fur coat.

Even Kris was taken back by the overload, declaring: “You’re very spoiled, Kim.” The model justified: “I haven’t shopped for myself in over six months. And Kanye has to deal with me every day.”
