‘Italy is not that kind of place’: Kanye West and his scantily-clad ‘wife’ Bianca Censori are warned to ‘behave’ by officials in Florence after their scandalous getaway sparked outrage in the city

Officials in Italy have warned controversial couple Kanye West and Bianca Censori to ‘behave’ after their latest high profile escapade.

Rapper Kanye, 46, and architect Bianca, 28, have been on an extended holiday in the country and have been snapped in Milan, Venice and Florence.

And each time they have stepped out the couple have sparked controversy – including a possible offence of indecency and breaching terror laws.

Last week in Florence Kanye was spotted directing a pH๏τo shoot which involved Australian born Bianca parading along the city’s main shopping street in a ‘ɴuᴅᴇ’ outfit that left little to the imagination.

Officials from the city’s tourism bureau warned the couple to respect the public decency laws and underlined the city’s slogan of ‘Enjoy and Respect Florence’.

‘Florence is not a beach establishment – your clothing (and behaviour) must be decent’ and any breaches are punishable by a 500 Euro fine.

Senior tourist instructor Andrea Giordani at the Tourism and Promotion office in Florence, where the couple were seen at the weekend, said: ‘I’d like to remind Kanye and his wife that they have broken the code of Enjoy and Respect Florence, in fact their behaviour goes beyond that, and especially in the case of Venice where they were seen on the boat allegedly engaged in Sєxual activity – Italy is not that kind of place.

‘We remind them of the code of Enjoy and Respect Florence – it reminds holiday-makers to remember what are the wrong behaviours but also what are the ‘good practices’ to live the city correctly and better organise your stay.

‘Only in this way will it be possible to guarantee the civil coexistence and the protection of the rights of each of us, respecting the environment, the artistic heritage and the idenтιтy of Florence, a city that was the cradle of the Renaissance and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.’

The code lists a series of prohibitions stating it is forbidden to sit in streets, churchyards, on the steps of stairways, monuments and churches and avoid ‘exaggerated games’ and jokes and to cause danger or fear in public places
